I completed my first trip to Walgreen’s today! I didn’t get a ton of stuff because I was focusing on getting the RR (Register Rewards) for next weeks trip. A few of the sales weren’t available to me because I just started collecting coupons so I didn’t have the ones that they were talking about. The total for everything in this picture was $31.80 but after my coupons the total came to $16.80 and I got $14 in RR for next week! 

This is what I got:
(2) Gillette Fusion ProGlide razors that were $9.89 ea (-$4couponOff) so I paid $5.89
Schick 5 Blade Razor was $7.99 (-$5couponOff) so I paid $2.99
Post Shredded Wheat was $1.99 (-2.00couponOff)  so I paid NOTHING
I’m having fun with this, here’s hoping next week is an awesome Walgreen’s trip!

Well I tried anyway! Yesterday after church we stopped and got both Sunday papers for the coupons and then went home and I studied Clippin’ With Carie hard core. See my sister-in-law has been doing the Register Rewards there for awhile and she always posts about the tons of stuff she gets for just a few dollars and on top of that she makes money while doing it! So after watching her do this for awhile now I decided it was worth a shot for me to try. She had explained to me that this website explains the whole process of what to buy and what coupons you’ll need to get the best deal, so that’s what I did only when I got to Walgreens later that day they were completely out of the two things that I would’ve made money on. I was very sad but I guess I’ll try again! The idea of shopping and making money or even just “not spending” money sounds WAY too good to just give up after the first try! 
I’ll post after my first success!!!
In the meantime Eric and I are going to have another date today! An afternoon @ Beaver Dam and a picnic in the park, I can’t wait! I love being married….. 🙂
