Quick Joyce Post

We went to the apple store after the conference on Saturday for some cracks on my MacBook and they sent my life line away to get fixed. It was completely free (even though it was out of warranty!) so I can’t post a full recap yet but I wanted to say something about how awesome it was!

My mom and I had a great time talking and spending time together! We met a new friend who we sat with frequently and I walked away with so much peace about what Gods been working in me before I went. Joyce was right on target as always, John & Staci Eldridge were amazing talking about their book Captivating, Nancy Alcorn from Mercy Ministries was awesome and her girls are strong and Israel & Cece were wonderful!

There were a lot of women with little babies with them and it made me think about next year. I’d LOVE to still be able to go and I want to say that I’ll be one of those moms that just says, “Ok baby, we’re going to see Ms Joyce!” instead I’m going to be a little cautious and see how baby is doing before we plan anything. I REALLY still want to go though!!!! 😉

Btw, we were chosen on Saturday morning (along with our new friend Melissa) to be a part of a flash mob! So we met in secret and learned a dance for Israel’s last song and got a free lunch! It was SO stinkin cool!!!

A Wedding to Remember…

So we’re in Wisconsin for my Grandpa’s wedding, it’s a little weird to watch your 80 year old grandfather marrying someone but if he’s happy than by all means it’s a wonderful thing! The best part was I got to see a lot of my cousins that I haven’t gotten to see in a while. Some flew in from California and Arizona that I haven’t seen in years and that was fun. We also ended my sister’s stay with us for the past two months. We drove the honda up here and we’re getting on the train tomorrow! I’m WAY to excited for my favorite form of transportation and the two hours in Chicago. We had fun and I can’t wait to see everyone again!
